SUNDAY 30 MAY

08.30 Transfer to the START of the participants in the AGE GROUP modality by bus. The bus will leave from the first transition (T1) situated at the entrance of Larache harbour.
09.00 START of the event for this group.
9:30 Transfer to the START of the participants in the ELITE WOMEN modality by bus. The bus will leave from the first transition (T1) situated at the entrance of Larache harbour.
10.30 START of the event for ELITE WOMEN
11.00 Transfer to the START of the participants in the ELITE MEN modality by bus. The bus will leave from the first transition (T1) situated at the entrance of Larache harbour.
12.00 START of the event for this group.
13.00 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awards in ELITE WOMEN and MEN groups.
14.00 LUNCH at the Colegio Español “Luis Vives” and presentation of trophies for the three first qualified in the different age group categories.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All athletes can collect their equipment and materials, ONCE THE EVENT HAS FINISHED, in the area installed for that purpose at the Liberation Square. The organization will bring there all the equipment from T1 and T2.
There is a direct via of communication from the finishing line to T1 situated at the Larache harbour entrance. All participants must use it to move in between the two places.
Athletes must be at T1 well in advance in order to get their equipment ready and take the transfer bus on time.

Erin Densham estará en Larache

Erin Densham, miembro del equipo australiano de triatlón, triatleta olímpica en 2008 y Campeona del Mundo Sub 23 en 2006, estará en Larache para competir por ganar la primera edición del 2010 LARACHE I.T.U. TRIATHLON AFRICAN CUP.
El nivel sigue aumentando.

INSCRIPCIONES

Las inscripciones para el 2010 LARACHE I.T.U. TRIATHLON AFRICAN CUP se están animando en los últimos días. Los españoles son los más numerosos,seguidos de los marroquíes, pero también se han inscrito triatletas de Australia, Sudáfrica, Hungría, Suiza, Francia, Méjico, Estados Unidos, Jordania, Egipto, Nigeria, Isla Mauricio y Oman. Todavía quedan 15 días y esperamos que finalmente sea un éxito completo de participación con un alto nivel deportivo.

Con motivo de la celebración del 2010 LARACHE I.T.U. TRIAHLON ARICAN CUP el periódico META 2000 ha publicado una entrevista con el Director del Coelgio Español Luis Vives y responsable de la organización, Alberto Elías Gabarre Banzo

APOYO DEL MINISTERIO DE JUVENTUD Y DEPORTES MARROQUÍ

El Ministerio de Juventud y Deportes marroquí ha comunicado que, ante la inexistencia por el momento de la una Federación Marroquí de Triatlón, la "Real Federación Morroquí de Deporte para Todos" será la encargada de coordinar las actuaciones necesarias y colaborar con la organización del 2010 LARACHE TRIATLON AFRICAN CUP.

LA I.T.U. APUESTA POR LARACHE

La I.T.U. va a apoyar económicamente a triatletas de 9 paises árabes y africanos para facilitar su asistencia al 2010 LARACHE I.T.U. TRIATLHON AFRICAN CUP. Se está cada vez más cerca de lograr que el triatlón de este año sea punto de encuentro entre deportistas europeos árabes y africanos. Por su parte la organización de la prueba está realizando grandes esfuerzos para alcanzar un gran éxito: todos los tratletas de élite y los equipos de 5 a 10 deportistas tendrán alojamineto y comida gratis durante tres días. El resto de triatletas, un día. Además todos los traslados desde el punto de llegada a Marruecos y Larache correrá a cuenta de la organización.

Se ha insertado en la página web de la Federación Española de Triatlón una entrevista realizada al Director del Colegio Español "Luis Vives", organizador del Triatlón Internacional "Ciudad de Larache", con motivo de la entrega de una mención especial dentro de la Gala del Triatlón 2009.
